everything his face chases. everything that chases itself across his face. his almost-barrel chest, his skinny arms and his long nose and his mouth that’s always doing something. the fall of his hair across his brow just waiting for someone, someone, to find it irresistible, someone who has to push it back. when varric first started to write about blondie, he figured he’d be getting into two people, not somewhere closer to twenty. tender and foolish and stubborn and angry and afraid. that soft neck. that stubble he still hasn’t shaved.
